Intellectual assessments identify your child's cognitive strengths and areas of weakness.  Specific cognitive areas include Verbal Comprehension, Visual Spatial, Fluid Reasoning, Processing Speed, and Working Memory.  Specific diagnoses such as Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder are examined.

Academic and Psycho-educational assessments include an in-dept examination of your child's age-level and grade-level performance on academic areas to include reading, writing, and math.  Findings can assist to provide support for Special Education Services (IEP's). 

Are you looking for a second opinion after a school district IEP assessment?  If so, an Independent Education Evaluation (IEE) may be beneficial.  We have extensive experience working with families to review IEP assessments and provide IEE's as a second opinion.
